This Privacy Policy explains how 2 Degree Shift, Inc. (“2 Degree Shift,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information collected through the website at https://2degreeshift.com (the “Site”).

2 Degree Shift, Inc. is a California Stock Corporation, California Secretary of State entity number 3047217, with a principal address at 2620 Gray Hawk Way, San Miguel, CA 93451.

2. What this policy covers, and what it does not

This policy covers information collected through 2degreeshift.com only. Our product sites operate under their own terms and privacy notices:

If you subscribed to the WhatsApp or SMS program operated by 2 Degree Shift on TokenCosts.ai, the handling of your subscriber data — your phone number, message content, opt-in record, delivery logs — is governed by the WhatsApp Program Privacy Policy published at tokencosts.ai/whatsapp-privacy, not by this Policy.

3. Information we collect through this website

We collect only what is needed to respond to inquiries and operate the Site. Specifically:

Information you provide directly. If you contact us through the contact form at 2degreeshift.com/contact/, or by emailing any address on the Site, we receive the name, email address, and any other information you choose to include in your message.

Server logs. Like most websites, our web host records standard server log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, for security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.

Cookies. 2DegreeShift.com uses only functional cookies required by our website platform (WordPress) for basic site operation. We do not run web analytics services such as Google Analytics, Plausible, or Fathom on 2DegreeShift.com. We do not use advertising, tracking, or profiling cookies. We do not embed third-party tracking pixels.

4. Information we do not collect

We do not collect or process the following through 2degreeshift.com:

  • Payment card or bank account information
  • Government identification numbers
  • Health information
  • Precise geolocation
  • Biometric information

Payment processing for the paid products operated by 2 Degree Shift is handled on the product sites (cuttokencosts.com, reducetokencosts.com, tokenshelpdesk.com), not on 2degreeshift.com, and is subject to those sites’ privacy notices and the third-party payment processors they use.

5. How we use information

We use information collected through this Site only to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communications
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Site
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use information collected through 2DegreeShift.com for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

6. Mobile information

Mobile information is not collected on 2DegreeShift.com. Mobile subscriber information collected through our WhatsApp or SMS programs is covered by the WhatsApp Program Privacy Policy on tokencosts.ai.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction applies to all mobile information we handle across every property 2 Degree Shift operates, including 2DegreeShift.com and every product site listed in Section 2.

7. How we share information

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers that operate essential website infrastructure on our behalf: our web host, email delivery provider, and similar vendors, under agreements that limit their use of your information to providing the service.
  • Legal compliance when required by law, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request; to enforce our Terms of Service; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of 2 Degree Shift, our team, or others.
  • Business transfer if 2 Degree Shift, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case your information may transfer as part of that transaction. If this happens, we will provide notice on the Site.

We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law.

8. How long we keep information

  • Contact form submissions and inbound emails: retained for up to 24 months after the last correspondence, unless a longer retention is required for legal or accounting reasons.
  • Server logs: retained for up to 90 days.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Children

2DegreeShift.com is intended for adult business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have received information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@2DegreeShift.com and we will delete it.

11. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act give you the following rights with respect to personal information we hold about you:

  • Right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.
  • Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information we hold.
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you have the right nonetheless.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide our services.
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@2DegreeShift.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” We will verify your request in a manner reasonably designed to confirm your identity.

12. Your rights if you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area

If you are in the United Kingdom or the EEA and your personal information is processed by 2 Degree Shift, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection under UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

Subscribers to the WhatsApp program in the UK or EEA are covered by the WhatsApp Program Privacy Policy on tokencosts.ai, which addresses subscriber data specifically. For any UK or EEA rights request relating to 2degreeshift.com, email support@2degreeshift.com with the subject line “UK/EEA Privacy Request.”

13. Third-party links

The Site links to product sites we operate and to external sites we do not operate. This Policy does not apply to third-party sites. When you leave 2DegreeShift.com, please review the privacy notices of the sites you visit.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced through a notice on the Site homepage for at least 30 days.
