What we build, in one line
2 Degree Shift builds daily practice for teams learning to use AI well. Our subscribers receive one actionable idea per day, delivered on the channel they prefer (SMS, WhatsApp, or email).
The four product lines below are all operated by 2 Degree Shift, a California C corporation. The messaging identity across all three subscriber products is TokenCosts.ai, so employees who move between products stay in one conversation thread.
The 3-foot level, and why it matters to the invoice
Most AI talk happens at the 30,000-foot level. Policy documents, all-hands presentations, quarterly strategy decks. Or at 10,000-15,000 feet with agentic experimentation.
We operate at 3 feet, on a phone or laptop.
Upskilled habits increase productivity and reduce costs to improve return on investment directly. That is our thesis. It is the same behavior-change mechanic the security industry used when phishing-awareness training drove click rates down 86% in a year, and when 2-factor authentication became a standard. We apply that mechanic to AI cost and productivity; slow at first, then compounding.
What a Tuesday morning looks like
A subscriber’s phone buzzes at 8:00 AM local time. The message is 300 characters or less. It reads something like this.
Tokens: Uploading a screenshot instead of pasting a full document usually costs 5 to 10 times fewer tokens for the same question, because most documents are 90% context you already know. Try it once today with a page you would normally paste. Reply NEXT · BACK · CANCEL · HELP.
That is the whole product. One idea per day. The reply keywords keep the message honest.
- NEXT. Got it, I have time now to view a few more messages.
- BACK. Send me yesterday’s message again.
- CANCEL. Unsubscribe, right now, no questions.
- HELP. Get support.
No dashboards to check. No app to install. No login.
Choosing a product line
Every product uses the same daily messaging engine. What changes is the depth of the support around it and who inside the organization has access.
Cut Token Costs
Daily upskill habits that cut AI spend one message at a time. Cut Token Costs is an SMS, WhatsApp, or email habits coach for entrepreneurs, individuals, and finance, operations, marketing, HR, and client-facing teams who want to build the daily prompting habits that reduce AI spend and improve productivity.
Every subscriber selects one of four subscriber types, and content is tuned to that type’s voice, vocabulary, and workflow context. Weaver is for people who use AI inside tools they already know (the Perplexity tab, the Copilot pane in Word, the Gemini panel in Gmail). Mason is for people building better workflows with AI, automating repetitive tasks, redesigning how a spreadsheet or CRM works. Smith is for the IT technician, WordPress builder, network configurator, or troubleshooter working alongside AI systems, learning when to trust output, how to spot cost anomalies, and how to supervise AI agents other teams built. Sage is for the power user with strong preferences and daily practice, focused on multi-model routing, avoiding single-provider dependence, and staying current with what the AI industry is shipping. Subscribers can change types any time by replying with the new type name. It’s a checkbox, not a ladder.
The coaching runs a three-stage progression that respects how people learn. Explore. A habit is introduced, the subscriber interprets and understands it. Practice. They use it in familiar contexts to build fluency. Apply. They implement it across different types of work. A habit can be Apply-level in one context and Explore-level in another. The daily coaching keeps them moving.
The Cut Token Cost coaching subscription is a 14-day free trial. Then $5 per seat per month, billed monthly or annually ($50 per seat per year, 10 months for 12),

Reduce Token Costs · the team subscription for finance and operations leaders
Cut your AI invoice without cutting your AI use. Reduce Token Costs is built for the CFOs, controllers, department heads, and front-line supervisors watching an AI invoice that grew 3 to 5 times in twelve months, with no clear ROI story to defend it.
Cheaper tokens do not reduce consumption. When a model becomes 50% cheaper, teams do not send 50% fewer prompts and pocket the savings. They run longer chains, retry more variations, and explore work they would have skipped at the old price. The unit cost drops, the invoice grows. The signal your team receives is “AI got cheaper, use more of it.” Habits are the lever, not procurement.
The base coaching subscription is a 14-day free trial, then $5 per seat per month, billed annually ($50 per seat per year, 10 months for 12), with a 10-seat minimum. Daily habit messaging on SMS, WhatsApp, or email reaches every seat. Individual team members see personal progress. Leadership sees the aggregate direction and the record of adjustments.
The Executive Priority Track is the differentiator for organizations that want coaching aligned to their specific cost pressures. It is an additional $10 per seat per month and is optional. Once a month, on or before the 25th, an executive submits three to five priorities through a shared form. Priorities can be organization-specific, industry-specific, or model-specific. Examples we see repeatedly: “Focus on habits that correlate with improving ROI.” “Reduce vendor sprawl across departments before next quarter’s contract renewals.” “Cut duplicate Copilot and ChatGPT subscriptions across marketing and sales.” “Get HR off the highest-tier model for routine work like subject-line drafts.” Each priority becomes a set of SMS, WhatsApp, and email coaching messages that shape the following month starting on the 1st. Priorities are held in a separate database and no other company sees yours.
The Track is additive to what the team is already doing. It does not require policy changes, software rollout, or reorganization. It layers on the workflow you already run. Leadership gets a monthly Manager Update and a quarterly Executive Brief, which is the value story (“Where the investment earned its place. What the Track produced this quarter”).

Tokens Helpdesk · the Learning Circle for groups of 2 to 5
Tokens Helpdesk is a Learning Circle subscription for a small group of people who already talk to each other. Friends who work together and text. Colleagues in a small business. A husband, wife, and two adult kids figuring out how AI fits their family business. A fractional CFO and her three regular clients. Four solo consultants who ran into each other on LinkedIn and stayed friends.
The mechanic is different from a solo coaching subscription. Every Circle has a monthly Challenge, delivered on the 1st of the month, that the Circle works on together. Not something the Circle reads about, something the Circle produces. A dashboard, a workflow, a customer-facing tool, an internal automation, a small process improvement each member takes back to their own work.
Before each Challenge goes out, we break it into the specific ideas the Circle will need to test, the mistakes the Circle can avoid, and the approaches that work in different operating contexts. Those pieces become the Tuesday and Thursday Circle messages that arrive throughout the month. Each message is a piece of the Challenge the Circle is already working on, not a stand-alone puzzle.
Alongside the Challenge, each Circle member also receives the daily habit messages tuned to their subscriber type (Weaver, Mason, Smith, or Sage), 7 days a week. Circles also receive 2 human-reviewed questions per month, banked up to 24. Every question is answered by AI first, then reviewed by a human within 24 hours before returning to the Circle. If the AI is right, the human confirms it. If the AI is off, the human corrects it. On the 5th of the following month, the Circle receives a monthly progress PDF showing what the Circle built, what the texts covered, and a preview of the next Challenge. Consider it a report-out you can share with your Circle, your work team, your boss, your accountant, or nobody at all.
$20 per person per month or $200 per person per year, with a 14-day free trial. Circles are capped at 5 people. Teams of 6 or more can run two Circles side by side. The Circle owns the subscription, so if someone steps away, the Circle keeps going.

TokenCosts.ai · the shared technical face
TokenCosts.ai is the operating identity for the SMS, WhatsApp, and email program across all three subscriber products, and the public reference site for the underlying data. It carries the pricing dashboards across major AI providers, the cost-per-task benchmarks, the WhatsApp Program opt-in policy, the privacy policy, and the terms of service. If a subscriber, prospective customer, journalist, or researcher wants to see the numbers behind the coaching, this is where they land.
Every daily message across Cut Token Costs, Reduce Token Costs, and Tokens Helpdesk is sent from TokenCosts.ai, so an employee whose role expands from a solo subscription into a team subscription, or whose team joins a Circle, stays in one conversation thread rather than being asked to reconnect through a new number.

Working with 2 Degree Shift · International
The daily coaching program works the same everywhere WhatsApp works, which is most of the world. Our current subscriber pipeline is majority UK-based, and we are actively partnering with international organisations on team subscriptions and reseller arrangements.
For UK-based buyers. Our WhatsApp program is registered with Twilio as our Business Solution Provider under Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform, which handles UK and EEA delivery natively. Subscribers in the UK receive the same daily practice as US subscribers, and UK subscriber data is handled under UK GDPR. See the WhatsApp Program Privacy Policy for the specifics.
For European buyers. The same infrastructure covers subscribers across the European Economic Area. Data-processing terms suitable for EEA-based customers are available on request. We handle these as an addendum to the standard subscription, not as a rewrite.
For partners and resellers. We work with a small number of implementation partners in the UK and Europe who bring the daily practice into their own client base as a co-branded or white-labeled channel. If your work sits alongside AI upskilling (training providers, apprenticeship organisations, professional bodies, employer networks), we would like to hear from you.
