Livable Wage Jobs 501(c)(3)

L

Livable Wage Jobs (LWJ) is our nonprofit arm. LWJ supports content development, apprenticeships, and product/project development.

LWJ Apprenticeships

Tech-related Apprenticeships with the US Department of Labor are listed on this link to our LWJ Apprenticeships page.

LWJ Lab

We create and publish Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 Open Source content toward upskill/reskill short-term workforce training. Our priority is engaging, accessible work-based learning targeting high-wage, high-growth jobs designed for edge learners. We research and evaluate alternative methods for collaborative learning that creatively meet compliance guidelines and industry priorities. We advise on the development and implementation of pathways, degrees, and certifications. (ResearchGate.net link to content)

Not Done Yet Crew

We collaborate with educators, engineers, HCI practitioners, and sociologists to develop products and projects. This is an inclusive group that prioritizes over 50 and contributors often screened out of hiring processes.

Collaborate

We collaborate with local and international small teams as volunteers, advisors, and project or product managers. Examples include the Persona Community with Digital Egret and digital Credential groups

Contribute

We have two nonprofits: Livable Wage Jobs 501(c)(3) and Open Source Ag 501 (c)(3). The first develops upskill and reskill work-based learning and offers certified tech industry apprenticeships. The second is a grow-to-donate farm and also offers certified agriculture sector apprenticeships.

Open Source

We’re all about open source, Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 development. If we created or developed products or projects of interest; reach out and we’ll send our documentation.
