For over 20 years, 2 Degree Shift has supported individuals and organizations to embrace purposeful, practical change. Throughout this journey, we’ve co-developed, secured funding for, and co-implemented robust Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways—all designed to support access to livable wage opportunities. These efforts have built a strong foundation of knowledge, partnerships, and proven solutions that are making a real difference for communities.

Four years ago, we launched Livable Wage Jobs 501 (c)(3) as an extension of this mission—committed to expanding upskilling and reskilling through open, Creative Commons content and a focus on community collaboration. As workforce needs shift and the value of upskilling rises, our priority is clear: support communities, educators, and organizations to design and implement inclusive, innovative CTE pathways to livable wage jobs.

Our Priorities

  • We will continue to support compliance and instructional projects and programs for community colleges and K12 LEAs.
  • We’ll partner with communities, schools, and organizations to co-create accessible programs, resources, and Creative Commons-licensed publications.
  • We’ll guide and support partners to navigate regulatory and grant requirements with tools and expertise that make compliance straightforward, manageable, and seamlessly integrated into daily operations—so organizations stay focused on their mission.
  • We’ll provide clear reporting and support systems to ensure transparency and accountability, building trust with funders and stakeholders without creating unnecessary administrative burdens.
